Peter Minnema

Born on the island of Ameland, part of the West Frisian Islands in the Northern Netherlands and bordering on the North Sea.  The middle child of six whose family came to Canada in 1954 to settle in Southern Ontario.

Educated through York University followed by a management diploma through the University of Toronto and a subsequent designation as a Certified Financial Planner. A corporate transfer brought me, my wife Pat and our young family to Calgary in 1977 and until 1982 was employed in various management capacities which included chairing a corporate retirement/pension committee. After 1982 following the aftereffects of the National Energy Program, founded and commenced a wealth management business currently operated by my partner and son, Chris who is assisted by my Grandson Caleb.

Married to Patricia (Pat) for 56 years and blessed with a son, Christopher, and a daughter, Pamela (husband Michael Sullivan) and 6 grandchildren, all of whom are the greatest gifts imaginable.
