Pastor Karen Petkau

Pastor Karen grew up in Savage Cove, Newfoundland, and worked in the journalism-communications industry for about 30 years. She served as a children’s ministry leader for nearly 10 years at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Calgary and has volunteered at numerous Vacation Bible Schools. An author of an illustrated children’s book, If Heaven is so Great, Why Can't I Go Now?, and an emerging young-adult novel series, Pastor Karen is a communications contractor and middle-school librarian who loves eclectic music, playing the musical spoons, hiking, camping, and creating fun, innovative, safe, inclusive, and faith- and grace-filled spaces to grow the Alpha generation of believers (born early 2010s to mid-2020s).
