In John 1:35-51, Andrew met Welcoming Jesus and Peter and Nathanael encountered Encouraging Jesus. In John 2:1-12, his new followers got to know Partytime Jesus – and things were going great. But in the second half of John 2, the plot thickens when their new friend and rabbi reveals that he's also Confrontation Jesus. He has what people often think of as a tantrum in the temple.

But was it really a tantrum? And why didn't this sudden outburst scare the disciples off? Why did they stick with Jesus? And why should we?

We'll talk about these questions and more in our Church@7 service tonight in the Main Sanctuary. We'll also pray our way through Psalm 96, and sing worship songs that tie in with themes from both of these passages.
