THIS WEEK AT ST. PETER’S April 19-26
Sunday: 10:00 am BAS Stream on Facebook We encourage you to watch the online services and we thank everyone involved who helps out so we can continue to share in God's word together.
Office Hours: Please be aware that office hours will be reduced during this time. The best way to get a hold of Meredith is by email at administration[at]stpeterscalgary[dot]ca. Flower Dedications for Apri 19: From the Mathew family- Happy Birthday Linita & may God bless you from Dad, Mom & Lincy. From Bob & Delores James- In loving memory of our daughter-in-law, Alison James.
CARING MINISTRIES
Prayer Group: Please contact Betty Nadurak at 403-686-1110 if you have any questions.
Pastoral Care: Please contact Lois Ellis at 403-252-9503 or loisellis[at]shaw[dot]ca for more information.
UPCOMING EVENTS and NOTICES Donations: Parish members may either mail in their donation to the Church (903 75 Ave SW, Calgary, AB, T2V 0S7), or they may bring it in and slide it under the Office door. The other alternative is for people to go to their bank and set up a direct deposit- please email Meredith for a form to complete. This will be extremely helpful as a parish member because it automatically comes out of your account to St. Peter’s.
Rummage Sale: IS CANCELLED. Please hold onto the items you have gathered. The Fall Sale is expected to go ahead. Keep hunting, as we all have those “hidden or unexplored” corners.
Parish List Update: Ann Bright and her team are contacting everyone in the 2019 Church Directory. You will be asked if your address and postal code are current, and whether you can be contacted by computer. Do you have an assigned mailbox? The time seems appropriate to update the Parish information as we continue to self-isolate. Please thank your phoner.
Lessons learned because of COVID – 19: Get dressed every day. Read the book that has sat on the shelf for a month. How are you doing with the silver polishing and clearing out the cupboards and drawers? Go outdoors each day. Phone a friend or neighbour. Say a prayer for the front-line workers, the transport drivers who bring us our food, the grocery store staff and all the volunteers who are doing grocery deliveries. Pray for those who have less.
Church Security: Please destroy any keys you may have for the FRONT DOOR, the ELBOW DRIVE DOOR and the O’HANA DOOR as the locks have now been changed. Limited new keys have been cut. We plan to remove the numerous Access Codes in the near future. If you require access, a new number may be assigned.

Church Closure: Please click HERE to read the notice sent by the Diocese to close the church to the public.
Dying with Dignity Webinar: Advance Care Planning and COVID – 19 will be available after April 20, 2020. Log into www.dyingwithdignity.ca and download the PDF Advance Care Planning Toolkit which focuses on creating a Personal Directive. The toolkit is short and to the point. During our self-isolation having the Directive completed is one form of peace of mind.
