We met on Tuesday, November 9. All of the Executive and Council were in attendance and Meredith was Recording Secretary. There are some in-house groups who are now meeting in the Church. The Executive is reviewing all the rates for in-house and external rentals as well as for the 2 rental houses. In anticipation of the Church returning to openness, there are tenders being requested to repair and re-paint the Lower Hall and the lower hallway. Also, timely estimates for the Narthex and offices as well as the asbestos abatement are being requested. We will again be requesting donations of money and/or non-perishable items for the Veterans’ Food Bank. We discussed the Christmas Survey and what opportunities for the Family-Friendly Service as well as other services to meet the needs of the congregation. It was reported that 7 children are attending our ZOOM Sunday School organized by Meredith. We discussed the need for a Nomination Committee in advance of the February AGM.
