Firewood for the splitting (and buying)

The St. Peter's Woodsmen have recently acquired an abundance of firewood, and they could use both some helpers and some customers.

Chief Woodsman Martin Cull says the team has already split a fair amount of the wood, so it's available for purchase: $100 per truckload, unloaded and stacked at a mutually agreeable time.

But there's also still plenty more wood that needs splitting.

"When we say wood-splitting, this isn’t done with an axe like Dave Cormack used to do, we have hydraulic wood splitters that do the work – we stand there and watch the machine do the splitting. We do load my truck up and deliver the split wood – so anyone who needs wood, let me know."
