Apologies for the incorrrect date in the Setting Sail version of this article. The clean-up is set for Saturday, October 26. - RP+

It's time to clear out the clutter!

That's why, as part of the rectory renovation project, Rev. Bonnie arranged for an extra empty garbage bin to be placed in the backyard of the rectory and we aim to fill it on October 26.

"There are nooks and crannies all over this church that are packed with stuff we don't need anymore, so we're seizing the chance to clear out the clutter," says Rev. Bonnie. "The bottom line is, if you've got something stored in an unused room, a cupboard or the attic, and you want it kept, you need to be here between 9 and 11 a.m. on October 26 or talk to us beforehand to make sure we know."

We're also looking for strong, burly workers, to help carry these surplus items to the dumpster. Coffee and treats will be provided.

"St. Peter's has so many great spaces, and there's so much potential for how they could be used for ministry. We have big plans and even bigger dreams, but we can't move forward with any of them until we clear out the junk," says Rev. Bonnie. "Decluttering is a cleansing experience both literally and spiritually, so I'm confident this will bear good fruit for our parish in the future."
